Student Exchange began in 2013 blending the cultural and academic exchange experience into one well-rounded opportunity for middle and high-school-aged international students. Combining the cultural experience typically associated with J-1 programs and the traditional academic expectations of the F-1 program, Student Exchange gives the broadest possible experience to international exchange students.
Kimberly Carter
President of Global Partnerships
Kimberly Carter is the President of Global Partnerships at Student Exchange, bringing extensive senior leadership experience in international education, cultural exchange, and cross-border collaboration. She leads high-level engagement with overseas agencies and strategic partners supporting Student Exchange programs worldwide, with a focus on sustainable, long-term international relationships. Her expertise includes high school, trainee, and internship programs supporting thousands of international students and participants across multiple regions.
Jennifer Lundgren
Global Vice President, Culture & Community
Jennifer Lundgren is the Vice President of Culture & Community at Student Exchange, bringing over 20 years of valuable experience in children and family services. With a background as a foster parent, care provider for teens in a group home setting, crisis line director, non-profit executive, and Regional Director who has placed hundreds of exchange students, Jennifer has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students and families in the international education industry. Her dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our team, and we are proud to have her leadership and expertise driving our organization forward.

With decades of experience in the international student exchange industry, Mr. Tracy brings unparalleled knowledge and expertise to our organization. He has a proven track record of success in all aspects of the industry, including student recruitment, program development, and operations. As a seasoned professional, Gaylen is committed to providing outstanding service to our host families, students, and partners, and ensuring that every exchange is a success.
Jayme Miner-Risman
Placement Director
Jayme has been working in the student exchange field since 2014, beginning her journey as a local coordinator, and it quickly became more than just a job—it became a calling. Her role is rooted in care, connection, and advocacy for students who are far from home. Drawing from her experience working with children through church involvement, her background in nursing, and her perspective as a business owner, she brings both compassion and organization to everything she does. She feels strongly that our work with exchange students goes beyond logistics—we care for them, support them, and become their second family while they are away from their own.
Vera Corrales
Support Administrator
Meet Vera Corrales, a passionate and dedicated member of the Student Exchange team since 2019, from Southern California. Vera brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to her role in supporting our corporate office and management team in various areas. Her tireless work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to our organization. With a natural ability to solve problems and find creative solutions, Vera is always eager to go above and beyond to help our students achieve their goals. Above all, her positive attitude and friendly demeanor make her a joy to work with, and we are proud to have her as a part of our team.
Jake Narey
Student Exchange President
Introducing Mr. Narey, President of Student Exchange. A native of San Clemente, California, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role, having worked with a variety of J-1 and F-1 exchange programs since 2011. Mr. Narey's diverse background includes working with public and private high schools, summer work and travel, college, trainee, intern, au pair, and OPT programs. With his extensive knowledge of the industry and his commitment to excellence, Mr. Narey is dedicated to providing the highest level of support to our students and partners. He is a visionary leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, and we are proud to have him at the helm of Student Exchange.
